Berry Chia Jam
This is a great option if you like jam but want to avoid the highly processed, high sugar varieties. Depending on the berries you use it can be quite tart, and is lovely on toast or drizzled over your favourite vegan yogurt.

Ingredients
  1. 3 tbs chia seeds
  2. 5 tbs water
  3. 2/3 cup berries of your choice
  4. 1 tbs rice malt syrup (optional, I prefer it without)
Instructions
  1. Place chia seeds in a small bowl
  2. Pour water over seeds and soak for ten minutes
  3. Place chia seed mixture in a food processor and blitz for ten seconds
  4. Add berries and blitz until the berries have broken down, but it's up to you how chunky your mixture is!
  5. Enjoy straight away or store in an airtight container for up to five days
