Easy Green Smoothie Bowl

This is a great smoothie recipe if you feel like something healthy, filling and sweet. After an indulgent weekend I often make this bowl, and try to focus on its lovely colours as flashbacks of me bathing in a mountain of doughnuts appear in my mind.This smoothie bowl does not judge. Enjoy this vegan, raw and delightfully fresh treat!


  • 1 green apple
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 2 tbs chia seeds
  • 1 tsp ground vanilla seeds
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • Toppings, such as puffed quinoa, oats, pumpkin seeds, kiwi fruit and strawberries


  • Put all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth
  • Pour mixture into a bowl and top with your favourite garnishes!
